About The Position

As a Senior Developer at Intercontinental Exchange, you will work at the forefront of global finance with state-of-the-art technology that directly influences essential markets worldwide. Requirements

Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
At least 4 years of Java development experience.
Experience with Java 21, distributed messaging (Kafka, JMS), multithreaded development, and advanced design patterns.
Experience with Spring Framework 6.x and Spring Boot 3.x, including reactive programming with Spring AOP.
Experience with databases and technologies including Oracle, SQL, MyBatis, and JPA.
Experience with microservices architecture, API gateway patterns, and service discovery.
Experience with modern testing tools including JUnit 5, Mockito, and Spring Boot Test.
Experience with RESTful API design and OpenAPI/Swagger.
Experience with Maven and Gradle.
Experience with Redis or Hazelcast caching, event-driven architecture, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), Docker, and Kubernetes.
Experience building cloud-native microservices using Kubernetes, Helm Charts, and Argo CD.

Nice To Haves

Experience with AI-powered development tools such as Claude Code and Cursor for accelerated code generation and refactoring.
Strong problem-solving abilities and proven expertise in Java performance tuning, debugging, and memory profiling.
Frontend experience with React or Ext JS.
Passion for financial markets.
Open-source contributions.
