Senior Assistant Vice President, Senior Desktop Support Analyst
About The Position
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Desktop Support Analyst, internally called Senior Systems Operations Engineer for a vacancy in our Toronto office. In this role, you will lead or participate in managing all installed systems and infrastructure within the Systems Operations functional area. You will contribute to increasing system efficiencies and lowering the human intervention time on related tasks. You will review and analyze moderately complex operational support systems, application software, and system management tools to ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability. You will work with vendors and other technical personnel for problem resolution, and lead a team to meet technical deliverables while leveraging a solid understanding of technical process controls or standards. You will collaborate with vendors and other technical personnel to resolve technical issues and achieve the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability. You will ensure secure, stable, and compliant operations in desktop support. Additionally, you will audit required visitor logging, conduct inventory governance, perform audit readiness, and work with Corporate Property Group (CPG) on maintenance escorts and automation.
Requirements
- 4+ years of Systems Engineering, Technology Architecture experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Nice To Haves
- Previous L2 desktop support experience
- Kanban experience
- Windows 11 experience
- Understanding and use of AI tools such as Copilot
- Azure certification
- Basic networking experience, including cabling and infrastructure support
