About The Position

FAM Brands is seeking a Senior Designer for its growing Menswear (Banana Republic) division. The role leads the design and development of seasonal menswear collections, creating modern, trend-relevant products with commercial viability. The ideal candidate brings a refined aesthetic, deep knowledge of fabrics and construction, and experience designing for elevated lifestyle brands and top-tier retailers. The position owns creative direction and design execution, develops trend-right concepts and line plans, and collaborates with cross-functional partners to deliver brand-right, margin-friendly products.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or equivalent.
At least 8 years of menswear design experience, specifically for elevated, heritage, and contemporary brands.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and PLM systems.
Experience designing for affordable price points.
Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey ideas clearly and collaborate cross-functionally.

Nice To Haves

Centric PLM experience.
Passion for fabric sourcing, sustainable design, or emerging technologies in apparel.

Responsibilities

Own the creative direction, design, and execution of the menswear collection.
Create trend-right concepts, color stories, and line plans aligned with brand and customer expectations.
Sketch detailed flat designs and develop technical design packages using Adobe Illustrator and PLM.
Collaborate with merchandising, technical design, product development, and sourcing to ensure brand-right, margin-friendly products.
Present concepts, design direction, and seasonal assortments to internal and external stakeholders.
Partner with technical design during fittings to maintain aesthetic and construction quality.
Stay current with fashion, cultural, and retail trends relevant to the target customer.
