About The Position

The Merchandise Assistant, Men's for Banana Republic develops, executes, and supports inclusive merchandise strategies that delight customers while meeting or exceeding financial goals. As part of the Merchandising team, the role works with cross-functional partners to drive business performance and bring products to market. The Merchandise Assistant manages samples day to day to support business decisions, uses pricing and database tools, and provides daily support for Merchandising initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Support merchandise assortments that meet global, digital, and regional customer needs and align with department strategy.
• Coordinate samples with Design, Visual Merchandising, Styling, and Production partners to ensure on-time availability and support product strategies and requirements.
• Identify in-season business opportunities and risks by analyzing and communicating sales performance and gathering marketplace information.
• Use established tools and procedures to identify, organize, and categorize information, including pricing.
• Share job-related information to provide routine, ongoing support across the MA group.
