About The Position

The Merchandise Assistant supports the development and execution of inclusive merchandise strategies that delight customers and meet or exceed financial goals. As part of the Merchandising team, the role works with cross-functional partners to support business performance and bring products to market. The position manages samples for business decisions, uses pricing and database tools, and provides day-to-day support for merchandising initiatives.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present information and tell a story.
• Ability to align with, collaborate with, and influence cross-functional partners and peers.

Responsibilities

• Support merchandise assortments that meet global, digital, and regional customer needs and align with department strategy.
• Coordinate samples with Design, Visual Merchandising, Styling, and Production partners to ensure timely availability and support product strategies and requirements.
• Help identify in-season business opportunities and risks by analyzing and communicating sales performance and gathering marketplace information.
• Use established tools and procedures to identify, organize, and categorize information, including pricing.
• Share job-related information to provide routine, ongoing support across the MA group.
