Senior Designer & Art Director

CodeAI•Seattle, WA
•$100,800 - $112,000•Remote

About The Position

As Senior Designer & Art Director, you will bring the CodeAI brand to life through design, visual direction, and creative ideas across its channels. Reporting to the Executive Producer of Creative and Delivery, you will lead the visual presentation of the brand and partner with a copywriter on integrated campaigns of varying sizes. The role emphasizes hands-on design: developing concepts, directing the look of the work, and producing assets for video, social, out-of-home, experiential, and everyday channels. CodeAI has established branding and campaigns in market, and the role focuses on finding fresh ways to express them. You will own the visual direction of the brand and design much of the work that carries it. This includes setting campaign and channel direction, creating and delivering production-ready materials, directing photo and video work, maintaining and evolving visual brand guidelines, and supporting teams and partners in applying them. You will also present work to leadership and stakeholders, using audience insights and performance data to refine creative work. CodeAI is an education innovation nonprofit focused on expanding access to artificial intelligence and computer science education for K–12 students, with particular attention to young women and students from underrepresented groups. The position works within a flexible, engaging, remote environment. Candidates must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents, work within the continental United States, pass a pre-employment background check, and be willing to travel at least twice per year for team events.
