About The Position

CodeAI is an education innovation nonprofit working to make artificial intelligence and computer science education part of every student’s K–12 education. The Senior Designer & Art Director brings the CodeAI brand to life through visual design, art direction, and creative concepts across the organization’s channels. Reporting to the Executive Producer of Creative and Delivery, this design-focused role partners with a copywriter on integrated campaigns and designs work spanning video, social, out-of-home, experiential, and everyday channel assets. They develop campaign and channel visuals, ensure production-ready delivery, create accessible digital work, and use AI tools in their design workflow. They also art direct photo and video shoots, direct contract creatives when engaged, steward and evolve visual brand guidelines, and present work to leadership and stakeholders using strategic rationale, audience insights, and performance data. The position requires U.S. citizenship or permanent residency, work within the continental United States, passing a pre-employment background check, and willingness to travel at least twice per year for team events. Interviews are currently held virtually via Google Meet.
