Senior Design Engineer
About The Position
The Senior Design Engineer will join the Gas Programs team and design and support natural gas distribution and transmission projects. The role includes developing facility layouts and designing measurement and regulation systems, while ensuring projects meet industry standards and safety requirements. The engineer will work with internal teams and external partners and contribute technical expertise to project planning and execution across energy initiatives. The position offers remote flexibility for candidates based in the Denver area, with occasional site visits and in-person meetings as needed. It is an exempt position with an annual salary of $85,000 to $90,000.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in civil, mechanical, or petroleum engineering.
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in natural gas utilities.
- Valid driver’s license for project site visits.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in pipeline and/or facility design.
- Familiarity with measurement and regulation systems.
- Registration as an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or Professional Engineer (PE).
