Senior Deal Strategy & Operations Manager

NetBrain
$120,000 - $150,000

About The Position

The Senior Deal Strategy and Operations Manager owns the desk that sits at the center of every complex enterprise deal at NetBrain: structuring transactions, enforcing discounting discipline, and ensuring contracts close without surprises. This role carries joint ownership of pricing strategy with the Office of the CFO and joint ownership of contract standards with the General Counsel's office, and is accountable for running a deal desk that keeps sellers moving while giving Finance and Legal confidence in every deal that closes. This is a highly cross-functional role, partnering daily with Sales, Sales Leadership, Finance, Legal, and Customer Success to balance deal velocity against revenue integrity and commercial risk.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in deal desk, sales/revenue operations, pricing strategy, or a related finance or commercial function, ideally within enterprise B2B SaaS or technology.
  • Working knowledge of quote-to-cash processes and CPQ platforms (e.g., Salesforce CPQ) and CRM systems (Salesforce preferred).
  • Strong financial and analytical acumen, including comfort building pricing models, ROI/business-value cases, and discount analyses.
  • Familiarity with commercial contract structures and terms, and the ability to partner effectively with Legal and Finance stakeholders.
  • Excellent cross-functional communication and stakeholder management skills; able to balance sales urgency with revenue and legal risk.
  • Process-oriented, detail-driven, and comfortable operating with a high degree of autonomy in a fast-moving environment.
  • Experience leading or contributing to RFP/RFI/RFQ response processes for enterprise technology deals, including coordinating cross-functional input under tight deadlines.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Manual Dexterity: Repetitive motion of wrists, hands and fingers for using a computer.
  • Stationary Tasks: Sitting for extended periods, remaining in a stationary position.

Responsibilities

  • Structure, review, and approve enterprise deals — including non-standard terms, discounting, and approval routing — to keep sales cycles moving within established guardrails.
  • Own and coordinate responses to RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs for enterprise and strategic opportunities — partnering with Sales, Solutions Engineering, Product, and Legal to deliver accurate, competitive, and compliant proposals ahead of customer deadlines.
  • Own module, device-count, and AI-feature pricing models; lead the annual list-price review and ensure packaging stays aligned with product strategy and market positioning.
  • Manage CPQ configuration, order management, billing operations, and revenue recognition processes to ensure quotes are accurate, compliant, and easy for sellers to generate.
  • Build the Hypothesis on Value, ROI models, and value-realization frameworks that support strategic, high-ACV deals.
  • Drive uplift discipline, multi-year contract anchors, and co-term execution in partnership with the Renewals/Customer Success team.
  • Monitor for revenue leakage, enforce pricing compliance, and run periodic commercial audits to identify and close gaps from non-standard terms.
