About the position
The Senior Data Strategist will be responsible for translating data into actionable insights for various departments across the agency, presenting insights internally, building research approaches to answer client and internal data requests, and guiding campaign measurement conversations. The ideal candidate should have experience with social data tools, solid quantitative and research skills, excellent communication skills, and a passion for understanding what drives consumers and culture. The minimum qualifications include 4.5 years of experience translating data into actionable insights and an understanding of the marketing/advertising landscape and data's potential within it.

- Prepared to present insights internally to other departments to build out deep audience understanding and bring the audience data to life
- Ask the right questions and understand objectives to build a research approach to answer client and internal data requests
- Guide campaign measurement conversations, ensuring that we track the right metrics and use the appropriate tools
Requirements

- Guide campaign measurement conversations, ensuring that we track the right metrics and use the appropriate tools
- Experience/familiarity with social data tools (e.g., Brandwatch…)
- Solid quantitative and research skills and proven data interpretation capabilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and an ability to prepare clear and concise client-ready documents
- Have a curious mind and a passion for understanding what drives consumers & culture
- Data visualization experience, nice but not necessary
- Latin-informed with concrete experience targeting/understanding the Latinx/Hispanic-American audience
- Proficient in social intelligence and/or media performance data
- 4.5 years of experience translating data into actionable insights
- Understanding of the marketing/advertising landscape and data’s potential within
- Exposure and/or experience with advanced analytics concepts
- The ability to think creatively about data collection, manipulation and application
- A track record collaborating with strategy, media and/or creative teams
- Deep experience in social media analytics and insights
- Hands on experience with quantitative and qualitative research methodologies
- Developing measurement plans and campaign learning agendas
- Innate curiosity in sociology, media behaviors and audience insights
- Experience presenting findings to clients
