About the position
We are looking for a Project Manager to join Translation, a well-established independent agency and thriving music business. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for strategically running day-to-day tasks across multiple projects/brands, driving conversations with teams regarding workflow and project issues, and overseeing the process of integrated campaigns. The ideal candidate should possess excellent time management and organization skills, be adaptable to change, and have experience in the advertising and communications industry. Additionally, strong communication skills and proficiency in project management tools are preferred.
Responsibilities
- Strategically run day-to-day tasks across multiple projects/brands
- Interface and drive conversations with teams re: workflow, process, resource and project issues
- Understand shifting priorities across the entire agency and work with fellow PM’s and Lead Teams to resolve
- Drive the process of integrated campaigns (film, experiential, social/digital, OOH) from scope through delivery
- Develop project timeline, monitor progress and enforce milestones
- Maintain real-time status and internal communications
- Set up briefs/reviews and record and distribute clear deliverables, direction and next steps
- Ensure all necessary reviews/approvals by lead/exec team(s) allowing time to impact the work
- Actively monitor issues and new developments, keeping the team informed, and proactively problem-solving
- Maintain daily/weekly hot sheets, and run core team status per account
- Manage day-to-day action items and priorities across the team
- Compile and organize all project assets and documents on the server
- Ensure all presentation materials are executed flawlessly and plan the necessary time to prepare
- Motivate team to collaborate effectively, looking out for the best interest of the work and our business
- Work with department leads to allocate the right team(s) for each project
- Coordinate efforts with vendors and partner agencies (getting estimates, sharing files, etc.)
- Produce digital, social, print, video assets via our in-house studio Type T

- 3+ years of agency or allied communications industry experience that ensures your understanding of advertising, marketing, media, creative, production, public relations, research, agency finance, etc.
- Digitally savvy; MUST be skilled in Google and Microsoft Office suite (Mac OS) and experienced in project management tools
- Incorporate the passion, excitement and experience of one’s MINOR in relevant ways that inform the quality and output of agencies deliverables
- Be a model example of adherence to agency processes and bring the broader team along
- Possess and deliver excellent written and verbal communication skills, demonstrating the ability to present thoughts clearly, accurately, and succinctly.
