About The Position

Genesis recently unveiled Eno, its wheeled, dexterous robot powered by its GENE foundation model. The hardest part of building general-purpose robots is not the model, but the data: real, dexterous, physical-world manipulation that does not live on the internet. Genesis's solution is a data-collection glove built to the exact geometry of its robot hand, allowing ordinary work to become training data for the robot. This role is responsible for running this data-collection engine, turning stations, workforce, and facilities into one reliable operation, end to end, and scaling it from a single floor to a global, multi-shift operation while maintaining a world-class quality bar. The ideal candidate has experience running data collection at scale in physical AI and is eager to do so again.

Requirements

• Experience building data collection at scale.
• Experience running a teleoperation, glove, or human-data operation at a frontier robotics lab, an embodied-AI company, or a top data operation.
• Understanding of the difference between hours collected and hours that actually train a model.
• Proficiency in managing throughput, scheduling, utilization, and yield.
• Experience running an operation with a real and measured quality bar.
• Demonstrated bias for action, deep ownership, and initiative.
• Ability to build and lead successful teams, including hiring and coaching.
• Comfortable partnering with international teams and operating across time zones.
• Experience working with teams and sites in Asia and Europe.

Responsibilities

• Run the floor end to end, owning scheduling, operator utilization, station uptime, and throughput to deliver accepted hours at the quality bar weekly.
• Build the operator bench by recruiting, leveling, and developing operators and senior operators for multiple shifts and sites.
• Ensure consistent quality by making every floor and partner site adhere to the same playbook, metrics, and quality bar.
• Turn problems into process by root-causing operational slowdowns and implementing SOPs, layouts, and tooling to accelerate future site ramps.
• Partner with Quality, Process, and Annotation functions to ensure collected hours convert cleanly into training-ready data.
• Stand up partner-site collection by rehearsing and running mock-runs and first deployments for partner operators.
• Build reporting to provide honest company-wide updates on collection volume, quality, and cost.
