Senior Data Engineer (w/ Oracle & OLTP) - On-Site
About The Position
NTT DATA is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to support the evolution of an enterprise customer profile platform and its integration with a broad ecosystem of applications. The role designs, develops, and optimizes data solutions, database platforms, and integration capabilities that support critical business processes and data assets. It uses cloud-native technologies, modern data engineering practices, and AWS and Snowflake capabilities to deliver scalable, reliable solutions that improve data accessibility, quality, and performance. This position is on-site five days per week in Plano, Texas, or Nashville, Tennessee.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of data engineering experience.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Oracle RDBMS, including SQL, PL/SQL, stored procedures, and query and performance optimization.
- At least 3 years of experience designing, developing, and supporting ETL and data integration solutions.
- At least 2 years of experience with messaging and event-driven technologies such as Kafka, Amazon Kinesis, SNS, SQS, or similar platforms.
- At least 2 years of programming experience using Java and/or Python.
- At least 1 year of experience developing or supporting solutions in AWS cloud environments.
- At least 2 years of experience supporting OLTP systems and high-volume transactional workloads.
Nice To Haves
- Experience supporting production applications and data platforms, including troubleshooting and incident resolution.
- Experience building and maintaining end-to-end data pipelines.
- Experience with API-based integrations and distributed systems.
- Experience developing scalable, high-performance data solutions.
- Understanding of enterprise data architecture and integration patterns.
- Java programming experience is strongly preferred.
