About The Position

The Senior Custodian performs skilled and semi-skilled cleaning, housekeeping, and general maintenance duties in acute and non-acute inpatient, outpatient, and non-patient areas. The role requires careful use of supplies and equipment while completing custodial tasks. Duties include resilient tile and carpet care, such as stripping, waxing, and carpet extraction or shampooing, as well as other related housekeeping duties as assigned.

Requirements

Previous experience working in a service industry position.
Previous experience interacting with internal and external customers.
Possess the skills, knowledge, and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties.
Demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job.
Ability to work in various locations and rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written instructions in English.
Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload.
Must be able to provide proof of work authorization.
