About The Position

Marquette Senior Living is seeking a hospitality-focused Custodian to help maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents and guests. This full-time role focuses on floor care, including carpet and hard-floor maintenance, as well as handling large trash items and keeping cleaning equipment and supplies in safe working condition. The position offers day and evening shifts: 7:30 AM–4:00 PM or 3:30 PM–12:00 PM. Every other weekend is required.

Requirements

• Floor care experience is required.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to perform moderate to heavy physical labor, including lifting and standing or walking for extended periods.
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English.
• Must be able to pass a background screening, physical, drug screening, and TB skin test upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform floor care services throughout the community, including carpet and hard-floor maintenance.
• Collect and dispose of large trash items in accordance with safety procedures.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies in safe, working condition.
• Complete additional cleaning tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
