About The Position

Critical Mass is looking for a Senior Creative Strategist to join their ArtBot team. ArtBot is Omnicom’s next-generation intelligent content orchestration, decisioning, and optimization solution, operating as a horizontal specialism across Omnicom to deliver scaled, data-driven, and AI-powered creative solutions. They specialize in Dynamic Creative Optimization (DCO), performance optimization, and scalable content activation, working with clients like Volkswagen Group, IBM, British Airways, McDonald’s, and PepsiCo. The Strategy team is crucial to ArtBot, setting the tone and driving the growth of their DCO product offering. The primary role involves creating and implementing dynamic creative strategies for key accounts, maintaining relationships with senior stakeholders, and managing the end-to-end DCO campaign process. A Senior Creative Strategist should be curious, willing to explore new ideas, and ensure Artbot’s strategies and technologies remain market-leading. The role also involves developing relationships across the Omnicom network, supporting new business pitches, building client commercial understanding, and working closely with the Head of Strategy to manage and mentor junior team members and co-lead team initiatives.

Requirements

  • 5+ years’ experience in a relevant media, creative, or strategy role
  • Strong understanding of the digital media landscape, including planning, buying, and activation across programmatic and social
  • Proven experience partnering with senior stakeholders across clients, agencies, and internal teams
  • Ability to craft clear, compelling strategic narratives that bring together creative, media, tech, and analytics
  • High attention to detail, particularly when working across creative strategy and large datasets
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically while applying analytical rigor to optimize performance
  • Experience designing and implementing measurement frameworks to evaluate digital effectiveness
  • Track record of managing and developing junior talent
  • Self-starter mindset — confident, proactive, and comfortable operating in ambiguity

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in conceiving and delivering successful DCO campaigns.
  • Knowledge of social ads manager platforms (e.g., Meta Ads Manager, TikTok Ads, LinkedIn Ads), ad serving platforms
  • Familiarity with dynamic-feed ad serving
  • Understanding of the creative production process, from concept to execution.
  • Experience developing digital media strategies on a global or regional scale.

Responsibilities

  • Define and drive the strategic direction of Artbot campaigns, ensuring alignment with client objectives and broader business goals.
  • Lead the development of best-in-class digital media strategies, incorporating data-driven insights, creativity, and innovation.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to key senior stakeholders, including internal teams, clients, and agency partners.
  • Ensure seamless communication and collaboration across departments, fostering strong relationships that enhance strategic execution.
  • Oversee the conception, execution, and performance analysis of DCO campaigns.
  • Guide the integration of personalization tactics, identifying the signals that can inform creative and deliver on business outcomes leveraging dynamic-feed / ad serving capabilities to enhance campaign effectiveness.
  • Develop robust measurement frameworks to assess the effectiveness of DCO strategies.
  • Utilize analytical rigor to interpret large data sets and derive actionable insights that optimize campaign performance against key client KPIs.
  • Ensure digital strategies balance data-driven decision-making with creative excellence.
  • Pay strong attention to detail regarding the creative strategy and how the DCO templates need to be built with intent to deliver on performance goals and still ensure alignment with consumer engagement & DCO best practices.
  • Manage and mentor junior team members, fostering a culture of learning, growth, and high performance.
  • Provide strategic guidance, ensure resource allocation efficiency, and support professional development initiatives.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the digital media landscape, including programmatic, social, and emerging platforms.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends to continuously evolve strategic approaches and media activation methodologies.
  • Explore and advocate for new technologies and methodologies in digital media strategy.
  • Keep abreast of advancements in AI-driven marketing, automation, and evolving creative production processes.
  • Support new business efforts by demonstrating strategic expertise and showcasing the value of data-driven digital media approaches.
  • Contribute to thought leadership by sharing insights on evolving media trends and best practices.
