About The Position

Humana is transforming its marketing organization to acquire and engage members with more data-driven, tech-enabled, and personalized communications—and creative & content plays a key role in empowering that journey. We are seeking a Senior Creative Strategist to join the team in The Hive. The Hive is the in-house agency for Humana Inc. We are a creative collective built exclusively to support the business and the brand. Our core purpose is to create meaning, influence choice, and motivate change through brand expression. The Hive is located in Louisville, KY, but qualified applicants will be considered for remote work anywhere in the US. The Senior Creative Strategist (internally known as Senior Professional, Creative Development) role will drive enterprise creative, marketing excellence, and enhance business value for Humana Inc. This position requires the experience and vision to inspire and develop marketing and creative strategies based on business objectives while building trusted relationships with our marketing partners.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in creative, marketing, communications, business or related field
  • 5+ years of Marketing with a mastery of advertising fundamentals including: branding, planning, positioning, strategy
  • 2+ years of advertising or internal agency experience
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and Agile ways of working, including collaboration within cross-functional teams, iterative development processes, and adaptive planning
  • Ability to identify solutions that will generate measurable results
  • Independent self-starter and extremely detail-oriented
  • Able to present to Senior Leadership and influence decision makers
  • Work well in a fast-paced team environment

Responsibilities

  • Drive creative strategy for newly-formed agile POD, focused on driving acquisition across 1:1 and broadscale channels for Humana's carrier-agnostic brokerage brand
  • Build strong, cross-functional partnerships with the internal agency team, marketing partners, and external agencies
  • Oversee customer-centric campaign strategies and conceptual milestones.
  • Leverage performance marketing expertise to deliver breakthrough creative that drives results.
  • Lead by example. Demonstrate and enable collaboration, constructive critique, and agile workflows
  • Understand the business, industry and competition, leveraging knowledge to help generate new ideas to strategically grow business and marketing strategy
  • Ensure work is on-strategy and appropriate for the brand and the business
  • Consistently collaborate with team members throughout the work process to foster, facilitate and consistently deliver great work that is on strategy, on time, and on budget
