About The Position

Under the direction of the Director of 3rd Party Reimbursement, this role assists in overseeing the completion of all third-party cost reimbursement reports and related audits and follow-up inquiries. The position coordinates the accumulation and analysis of all information required to be reported in the cost reports. It also assists in training and mentoring of reimbursement staff, including first-level review of work papers as needed, and supports the establishment of necessary third-party reserve accounts. The Senior Cost Reimbursement Analyst completes routine and ad hoc analyses as assigned.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Business Administration or related field.
Minimum of three years of experience in a healthcare financial or accounting setting.
Working knowledge of the principles of fund and cost accounting.
Experience with data processing capabilities and procedures as they relate to financial applications.

Nice To Haves

MBA and/or CPA
Experience working with cost reports and familiarity with third party reimbursement principles
