About The Position

Reports to: Cost Control Manager The Cost Controller’s key responsibilities are: Organizing and attending project meetings Follow up tasks with internal leads and assist with schedule and cost management. Maintain project progress data and handle any issues that arise. Create and maintain Project Controls Minutes of Meetings Coordinate with Risk, Planners, Finance, IDD/BIM, Supply Chain, and Cost Controller Aid cost control, scheduling, supply chain, and finance & project accounting groups. Verify monthly actual costs, quantity, and progress; develop forecasting and monthly accruals. Facilitate SAP meeting and provide support for project quantity tracking and budget verification. Consolidate cost control deliverables and prepare cost reports. Set up automated process to maintain monthly database for project wide. Work as a communicator in the team to align all project controls team. Performs other duties and responsibilities as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • 5-8 years of progressive experience in cost control, project controls, or financial management within construction, infrastructure, or industrial projects.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities across all levels of organization.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) skills. Experience with various document control software.
  • Organizational skills to handle multiple tasks within a high-pressure work site environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral).
  • Ability to work effectively with all levels of management and employees.
  • Willingness for continuous learning and advancement of technical knowledge.
  • Detail oriented.
