Sr. Manager, Corporate Communications

SiTime Corporation•Santa Clara, CA
•$138,960 - $191,070

About The Position

SiTime is hiring a senior individual contributor to build and expand corporate communications programs as the company grows. Reporting to the Director of Corporate Communications, this role develops and executes programs across media, customers, partners, employees, and social media. It communicates SiTime’s technology leadership, innovation, and customer impact while establishing repeatable programs that can scale with the company. The successful candidate is a results-oriented builder who uncovers stories across the organization, forms productive cross-functional partnerships, and delivers high-quality work with limited oversight. The role will develop customer and partner storytelling programs; expand SiTime’s presence at partner and industry events; reach new business and technology audiences through media relations; support employee communications and social amplification; and measure and scale communications programs. Initial targets include building a pipeline of 10–15 customer stories annually, publishing at least two stories within the first six months, securing at least two high-level business stories in new credible outlets within six months, and building 2–3 new journalist relationships per quarter.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, journalism, and/or content strategy.
  • A record of building or expanding communications programs and delivering measurable outcomes, rather than simply executing established plans.
  • Strong media relations experience, including success developing proactive stories and securing coverage with new outlets.
  • Experience developing customer stories, partner communications, speaking programs, or other stakeholder-focused initiatives.
  • Experience in semiconductors, enterprise technology, infrastructure, AI, networking, or another technically complex industry.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, storytelling, and pitching skills, including the ability to translate complex technology into clear, relevant narratives.
  • Strong cross-functional relationship-building skills and the ability to work effectively with Sales, Marketing, Product, Business Development, and Human Resources.
  • Sound news judgment, discretion, and the ability to handle sensitive information.
  • Highly organized and resourceful, and comfortable building new programs in a fast-moving environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • English proficiency, including the ability to communicate, collaborate, and perform job responsibilities effectively in a professional business environment.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Sales and Product Marketing to create an annual customer storytelling calendar organized by quarter, strategic market, and publication channel.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of 10–15 customer stories annually, subject to customer participation and approval.

  • Prioritize event opportunities based on audience relevance, business alignment, and SiTime’s ability to contribute.
  • Develop and submit speaking proposals, panel concepts, and session abstracts to elevate SiTime’s presence in priority markets.
  • Track event submissions, acceptances, participation, and resulting reach to improve the program.
  • Secure at least two high-level business stories within the first six months in credible outlets that have not previously covered SiTime, tied to customer and/or partner engagement.
  • Build relationships with new business, technology, and semiconductor journalists, targeting 2–3 new relationships per quarter.
  • Partner with Human Resources on employee communications related to company priorities, culture, milestones, and approved corporate initiatives.
  • Work with Human Resources and Marketing to identify employee stories and create content employees can authentically share through social media.
  • Establish baseline measures for employee participation and social amplification, then recommend practical ways to increase engagement.
  • Create decision-useful reporting on customer and partner stories, speaking opportunities, new media relationships, high-quality coverage, message pull-through, and social amplification.
  • Use results to refine priorities, focus resources, and recommend areas for communications investment.
  • Develop repeatable workflows, editorial calendars, and cross-functional routines that expand the capacity of SiTime’s corporate communications program.
  • Lead proactive media outreach and maintain productive relationships with business, technology, semiconductor, and vertical-market journalists.
  • Develop content for customer, partner, employee, and social channels while maintaining a consistent voice.
  • Manage stakeholders and deadlines with sound judgment, discretion, and attention to detail.
