About The Position

The Manager, Corporate Communications will help shape Chime’s corporate narrative and reputation as a public company. The role leads communications for major company moments and stakeholder engagement across quarterly earnings, corporate announcements, executive engagements, and high-stakes issues. The successful candidate is a strategic, highly capable writer who stays composed under pressure, anticipates needs, catches details, and independently drives work from idea through execution. The role requires building trusted relationships with senior leaders, reporters, and cross-functional partners, with the opportunity to grow as the function expands. Reporting to the Director of Corporate Communications, the manager works closely with the Corporate Affairs team, Investor Relations, Legal, Finance, and Chime leadership. Responsibilities include supporting corporate announcements and financial communications; owning and evolving corporate messaging; growing media and influencer relationships; managing executive visibility; leading sensitive media inquiries and issues; advancing AI-enabled communications tools and workflows and collaborating on answer engine optimization; and managing agency partners, measurement, reporting, and project coordination. Chime is a financial technology company, not a bank, that aims to help people achieve financial progress through helpful, easy, and free core banking services. The company describes its culture as entrepreneurial, accountable, collaborative, inclusive, and grounded in integrity and member trust. The position’s stated salary range is $133,000–$185,000 USD. For full-time regular employees, Chime describes an in-office policy of four days per week with Fridays from home for employees near an office, as well as a fully remote program.
