The University of Colorado Denver is seeking a Senior Coordinator of Health Promotion and Basic Needs to join the Wellness and Recreation Services department. This position reports directly to the Assistant Director of Health Promotion & Basic Needs. The Senior Coordinator is responsible for mobilizing and sustaining inclusive campus-wide initiatives and programs related to mental health, basic needs, health promotion, and overall well-being. This role supports programs such as Milo’s Market Student Food Pantry, Swipe Out Hunger, Peer Health Education, and Financial Wellness. The position aims to foster a culture of well-being and active engagement on campus, collaborating with various university departments and community partners. Key responsibilities include overseeing the Peer Health Education Program, managing the operations of the wellness suite, and supervising student staff. The role also involves managing program budgets, conducting assessments, and developing educational materials.
