Requirements

  • At least 7+ years post-graduate experience looking for the next step or are currently undertaking a similar role in a similar environment.
  • A business-related Degree or equivalent (relevant experience in lieu of degree will be considered)
  • 7+ years of contract administration experience supporting large-scale infrastructure, transportation, civil, or construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of contract delivery models, including Design-Build, Construction Management, EPC, and Lump Sum contracts.
  • Demonstrated experience managing contractor claims, change management processes, and dispute resolution.
  • Must possess excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiating, project management, planning and organizational skills
  • Proven abilities (as they relate to contract management) in influencing internal and external parties, managing risk, and optimizing costs through innovation
  • Proficiency with MS Office including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required.

Responsibilities

  • Administer and manage construction contracts in accordance with project requirements, contractual obligations, and governance frameworks.
  • Lead contract administration activities, including change orders, contract amendments, variations, claims management, and dispute resolution.
  • Provide expert guidance to project teams on contractual rights, obligations, entitlements, and commercial risk mitigation strategies.
  • Review, draft, negotiate, and manage contract correspondence, notices, amendments, and commercial documentation.
  • Monitor contractor performance and ensure compliance with contractual, commercial, technical, and regulatory requirements.
  • Evaluate contractor claims and change requests, conduct entitlement assessments, and provide recommendations for resolution.
  • Partner closely with project management, procurement, legal, engineering, and commercial teams to support project delivery objectives.
  • Maintain accurate contract records, documentation, and audit trails in accordance with project controls and governance requirements.
  • Identify, assess, and manage commercial risks and opportunities throughout all project phases.
  • Support procurement processes, including tender reviews, bid evaluations, contract award recommendations, and post-award administration.
  • Participate in contract negotiations and facilitate the resolution of contractual and commercial issues.
  • Prepare contract status reports, commercial analyses, and recommendations for project leadership and stakeholders.
