The manager will establish expertise in priority topics, develop authoritative narratives and research, and build AI-powered workflows that scale content creation across Snowflake. The position may be based in the San Francisco Bay Area or remote within the United States.

Requirements

  • 5–7+ years of experience in content marketing, editorial, or digital content strategy, preferably in B2B technology or enterprise SaaS.
  • Demonstrated experience building or using AI tools for content creation and content processes, such as prompt engineering, AI agents, or LLM-powered workflows; able to describe specific workflows built.
  • Strong writing and editing skills, with a proven ability to produce research-driven, long-form thought leadership content such as bylines, research reports, and data studies.
  • Experience designing and executing original research programs, such as surveys, data studies, and benchmarks, that generate earned media and thought leadership positioning.
  • Ability to work with technical concepts such as data engineering, AI/ML, cloud infrastructure, and security, and translate them into compelling narratives for business and technical audiences.
  • Strong project management skills, including owning production schedules, managing stakeholders, and coordinating across multiple teams.
  • Experience using content analytics, including traffic, engagement, SEO rankings, and pipeline attribution, to inform strategy and demonstrate ROI.
  • Comfort with data tools and willingness to learn Snowflake-specific platforms such as Cortex, Streamlit, and SQL basics; engineering experience is not required, but eagerness to build is expected.
  • Follow Snowflake's confidentiality and security standards and data security plan, and protect customer information.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Snowflake or similar cloud data platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with AI/LLM platforms, including building agents, prompt chains, RAG pipelines, or AI-assisted editorial workflows.
  • Experience working in or with a content center of excellence model.
  • Familiarity with SEO tools and strategy, including search volume analysis, keyword research, and competitive gap analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Own and drive original research programs, including surveys, data studies, competitive analysis, and industry benchmarking.
  • Develop deep subject-matter expertise in two to three priority topics and create authoritative long-form content, including research reports, executive bylines, data-driven blog series, and op-eds.
  • Partner with internal subject-matter experts and executives to gather insights and translate them into high-impact narratives.
  • Track share of voice, search trends, and competitive positioning to identify content gaps and opportunities.
  • Design, build, and improve AI-powered content workflows using Snowflake Cortex, CoCo Skills, and Content Studio.
  • Create and maintain AI skills and prompt chains for content production, including drafting, ebook generation, SEO optimization, copyediting, brand voice compliance, and content auditing.
  • Evaluate emerging AI capabilities, prototype tools, and integrate them into the content production pipeline.
  • Build self-service AI tools so non-content teams can produce on-brand, CoE-quality content independently.
  • Measure and report on AI workflow adoption, time savings, and content quality improvements.
  • Evangelize CoE content standards, AI tools, and workflows to product marketing, corporate communications, engineering blog, and partner marketing teams.
  • Write and edit content across formats, including research reports, ebooks, solution briefs, blog posts, web pages, executive bylines, and campaign assets.
  • Ensure content aligns with Snowflake's brand voice, SEO best practices, and CoE editorial standards.
  • Use content performance analytics to inform editorial strategy and prioritization.
  • Manage content calendars, production timelines, and cross-functional stakeholder relationships.
