About The Position

ASRC Federal Facilities Logistics, a subsidiary of ASRC Federal, is seeking a Construction Project Management Specialist to support Operations and Maintenance task orders at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center. This is an onsite position at the center. The specialist manages and supports task-order projects, coordinating contractors and on-site tradespeople while ensuring compliance with Goddard requirements and specifications. The role also involves managing task orders, subcontracts, budgets, and project expenditures, and coordinating with system owners, building managers, and occupants.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree and at least 8 years of experience in a related or applicable field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience with electrical and mechanical systems, installation, and applicable codes.
Knowledge and experience with outage and lockout/tagout (LOTO) processes and electrical coordination with other trades.
Experience reviewing and modifying drawings.

Responsibilities

Facilitate task orders issued by the Government.
Coordinate contractors and on-site tradespeople and ensure badging, documentation, and work procedures comply with Goddard Space Flight Center mandates and specifications.
Communicate with system owners, building managers, and occupants, and request system outages.
Maintain control of task orders and subcontracts, manage budgets, and oversee project expenditures.
Lead pre-bid job walks with potential bidders and work with procurement on subcontract scopes of work.
Participate in weekly performance meetings with upper management.
