About The Position

Career Developers Inc. is seeking a Senior Construction Litigation/Labor Law Associate Attorney to join a seasoned team representing clients in general liability and casualty, construction-related lawsuits, transportation, and trucking matters. The team is dedicated to training attorneys and advancing their professional experience and knowledge. The position is hybrid in New York City, with a listed salary of $185,000–$225,000.

Requirements

Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school.
Active membership in good standing with the New York State Bar.
At least 7 years of litigation experience, including 7 years of proven Labor Law construction experience.
Experience with insurance defense, premises liability, and general liability matters.

Nice To Haves

Demonstrated experience as first and/or second chair is strongly desired.
Advanced understanding of New York Construction Law, including Labor Law §§ 200, 240, and 241, is preferred.

Responsibilities

Independently manage cases involving insurance defense, general liability, auto and transportation liability, and New York State Labor Law construction matters.
Work with attorneys, team members, and seasoned Partners on legal projects in a team-oriented environment.
Handle court appearances and depositions.
Communicate with clients by providing clear, timely updates and guidance.
