About The Position

Keville Enterprises Inc. is seeking a full-time Senior Construction Inspector to join our team in Rocky Hill, CT. The role focuses on inspecting work performed by construction contractors to ensure conformance with contract plans and specifications. Responsibilities include contract administration, reporting daily progress, tracking and documenting quantities of work performed, and resolving construction problems and challenges in the field. Requirements

Experience in inspecting, testing, or managing construction projects is a must
Effective written and oral communication skills
Eager to learn
Willing to perform a variety of tasks
Team player
A minimum of four years of experience in civil, highway or a relevant engineering field is required
Two years in a field inspection capacity
A NICET Level 3 is required for this position
A current State of Connecticut Professional Engineer's License or a Bachelor of Science Degree (BS) in a relevant field is also acceptable
Fully proficient in the use of computers including MS Word, Excel and construction reporting/quantity tracking software
OSHA 10 certification is a condition of employment
Employees assigned to driving duties must have a current, valid US State driver's license and have a satisfactory driving record
Background checks required
Pre-employment (post-offer) background checks required

Nice To Haves

Other certifications including NACE Coatings Inspection; ATSSA Traffic Control Supervisor; NETTCP HMA Inspector, NETTCP Concrete Inspector, Soils and Concrete, ACI Technician and AWS/CWI are a plus
A Bachelor of Science Degree may be substituted for two years of experience
