About The Position

Keville Enterprises Inc. is seeking a full-time Construction Inspector to join their team in Rocky Hill, CT. Keville Enterprises Inc. is an established Construction Management Consulting & Inspection firm that has been serving the Construction Management Industry since 1991. They specialize in providing a full spectrum of construction management and support services as an owner's representative on public and private projects. The role will focus on inspecting work performed by construction contractors to ensure conformance with contract plans and specifications, contract administration, reporting daily progress, tracking and documenting quantities of work performed, resolving construction problems and challenges in the field, and other oversight responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

Field construction inspection experience in highway or a relevant engineering field
Knowledge of construction means and methods, materials
Strong communication skills
Documentation control
Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications
Ability to perform quantity takeoffs/calculations
Experience in inspecting, testing, or managing construction projects
Effective written and oral communication skills
Eager to learn
Willing to perform a variety of tasks
Team player
A minimum of two years of experience in civil, highway or a relevant engineering field with field inspection capacity
NICET Level 2 certification
Bachelor of Science Degree (BS) in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
Fully proficient in the use of computers including MS Word, Excel and construction reporting/quantity tracking software
Current, valid US State driver's license and a satisfactory driving record (for driving duties)
OSHA 10 certification
