About The Position

Ellsworth Corporation, a global, industry-leading distributor of specialty chemicals and equipment and adhesive manufacturer, is seeking a Senior Compensation Analyst. This role reports into our corporate headquarters located in Germantown, WI. This is an on-site/hybrid role at our Germantown facility. Ellsworth Corporation is a family-run company that has had continuous growth for over 50 years. We are an industry-leading global distributor, manufacturer, and packager of adhesives used by cell phone, medical device, space/aerospace, and electric vehicle industries. This role maintains the design, administration, analysis, and continuous improvement of compensation programs across North America and supports the broader global compensation programs, ensuring alignment with business objectives, organizational compensation philosophy, market competitiveness, and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

• 5+ years of progressive compensation experience, with demonstrated expertise in market pricing, salary administration, compensation analysis, and compensation program management
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, Math or related discipline
• Strong knowledge of compensation principles, salary administration, market pricing methodologies, job evaluation techniques, and incentive plans
• Understanding of pay equity, pay transparency, Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), and applicable compensation-related employment regulations
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel with familiarity using other MS Office applications
• Experience with Workday compensation modules to include the advance compensation program and set up
• Excellent analytical skills and ability to solve complex problems by exercising judgment to identify innovative solutions.
• Strong interpersonal skills to communicate difficult concepts and negotiate with all levels, including senior executives.
• Demonstrated ability to keep up to date on federal, state, and local compensation laws and regulations and informed of industry trends and best practices.
• Demonstrated ability to build strong cross-functional partnerships and collaborate effectively with HR, Finance, business leaders, and employees to develop and implement compensation programs that align with organizational objectives

Responsibilities

• Administer North America compensation programs, including base salary, incentives, and bonuses, ensuring compliance with policies, governance standards, and regulations
• Maintain compensation documentation, controls, and audit practices to support compliance, efficiency, and pay equity
• Conduct market pricing, benchmarking, and trend analysis to support competitive compensation programs and informed decision-making
• Support job architecture, job evaluations, career frameworks, and salary structures, including job leveling and range placement
• Maintain job, market pricing, and compensation data in Workday and compensation systems; partner with HR and leaders on new and evolving roles
• Serve as a trusted advisor on compensation strategy, including pay administration, job evaluation, incentives, pay equity, transparency, and market competitiveness
• Provide compensation, consultation, education, and training to HR and business leaders
• Support annual compensation planning activities, including merit, market, promotional, and incentive programs, along with related communications and training
• Coordinate compensation system configuration, testing, reporting, analytics, and budget monitoring for compensation cycles
• Leverage Workday, compensation platforms, and analytics tools to ensure data integrity, support system enhancements, and provide actionable compensation insights
• Participate in compensation initiatives and special projects; deliver executive summaries and data-driven insights to senior leadership
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, leaders, and stakeholders to build strong partnerships, align priorities, and achieve business objectives
