Senior Commission Analyst
About The Position
Outreach is seeking a Senior Commission Analyst to join their Sales Compensation team. This role is responsible for ensuring the accurate, consistent, and timely execution of sales compensation plans and processes. The analyst will partner with cross-functional teams to facilitate plan execution, identify opportunities for efficiencies, and support Xactly implementation through testing. A strong understanding of compensation plan mechanics is essential for accuracy, compliance, and alignment with company objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, prioritizing accuracy, efficiency, and meeting deadlines.
Requirements
- 3+ years of sales compensation experience
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, accounting or related fields, or equivalent experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complete data into clear insights and actionable recommendations
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (e.g. formulas, pivot tables, modeling, etc.)
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proactive mindset with a passion for process improvement, operational excellence and supporting sales performance through data-driven solutions
- Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply compensation policies, ensuring accuracy and compliance aligned to company guidelines
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with a proven ability to partner effectively across departments are various levels of the organization
Nice To Haves
- Xactly administration experience is preferred
Responsibilities
- Administer the sales compensation plans, ensuring accurate and timely Xactly set-up, attainment reconciliations, and earning reviews
- Identify operational issues and process improvements; collaborate with internal stakeholders as needed to development solutions
- Support accruals and ad hoc reporting
- Respond to employee questions regarding commission and policies in a timely manner
- Document assigned sales compensation processes
- Assist with Xactly implementation and/or reporting development
- Ad-hoc projects and back-up for other team members
