Senior Commercial Litigation Associate/Of Counsel
About The Position
Nelson Mullins is looking to add a Litigation Attorney to its commercial litigation group in the Miami office. As an AmLaw100 firm, this will offer a unique opportunity to a lateral attorney who wants to be part of a dynamic office. You will be joining a highly skilled team of attorneys who have substantial courtroom experience at the state and federal levels. The Miami office itself features a diverse group of attorneys, many of whom are fluent in Spanish and other languages, practicing in areas such as litigation, estate planning, taxation, healthcare, real estate, corporate and securities, infrastructure, and more. With over thirty attorneys, the Miami office allows us to best serve our clients in Florida, the Caribbean, and Central and South America. All candidates are asked to submit a cover letter, resume, copy of their law school transcript.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of meaningful commercial litigation experience
- Confident in abilities to usher a successful client experience
- Enjoy legal research and persuasive writing
- Well-versed in taking and defending depositions
- Experience in both federal and state court litigation (preferred)
- Pride on written and oral advocacy skills
- Admitted to the Florida Bar (in Good Standing)
