About The Position

The Office of K-12 School Choice Senior Clerk (OPS) performs administrative and clerical duties in support of the Private Schools and Scholarship Programs staff in the Office of Independent Education & Parental Choice.

Requirements

High School Diploma or Equivalent
Ability to communicate effectively including verbal and written communication.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Nice To Haves

At least one year of previous part-time or full-time employment in an office setting.

Responsibilities

Assist in managing the operation of private school registration including assigning school codes and corresponding with private school administrators regarding the procedure for opening a private school, the registration process, and submitting the annual survey
Provide customer service by answering calls and prepare written correspondence to private schools and the general public regarding private school registration, accreditation, closures and the location of records and transcripts
Scan documents related to private schools, converting them to searchable text and maintaining files
Route documents received to appropriate staff members
Assist with record archiving process
Perform related duties as required
