West Bend Insurance CompanyRemote,
$68,000 - $86,000Hybrid

About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Senior Claims Representative – Commercial Specialty / General Liability to manage moderate to complex commercial claims involving bodily injury and property damage. This role is responsible for independently investigating, evaluating, negotiating, and resolving third-party General Liability claims, including matters involving unique, specialized, or high-risk exposures beyond standard commercial policies. This isn’t a role built around routine claims handling. It’s an opportunity to take ownership of meaningful, high-impact work that requires critical thinking, strong negotiation skills, and a deep understanding of commercial liability exposures. You’ll manage complex claims independently while collaborating with internal partners, supporting best practices, and serving as a trusted technical resource for the team. Day to day, you’ll investigate and evaluate claims, assess liability and coverage, negotiate resolutions, and develop thoughtful strategies that balance fairness, efficiency, and business outcomes. You’ll also play an important role in helping elevate file quality and mentoring others by sharing your expertise and insight. We’re looking for someone who brings strong analytical instincts, sound judgment, and the ability to communicate effectively with a variety of audiences. The ideal candidate is comfortable navigating complex situations with minimal supervision and thrives in an environment where collaboration and continuous improvement are valued. Most importantly, this is a chance to join a collaborative team where your expertise truly matters. You’ll have the opportunity to work on sophisticated claims, contribute to meaningful improvements, and make a visible impact - both on the files you manage and the people you work alongside.
