Senior Civil Engineer - Data Center
About The Position
Olsson is hiring a Senior Civil Engineer for its Data Center Civil Team. The role supports large hyperscale data center campuses and colocation data centers throughout the United States, including some of the firm’s largest and most complex engineering projects. The engineer will serve as project manager on some projects and lead design engineer on others. The role includes preparing planning and design documents, processing design calculations, and developing and maintaining team and client standards. The engineer may lead quality assurance/quality control and advise on complex projects. The position also coordinates work with Olsson teams and professional and technical staff, clients, and other consultants. Candidates may work from an Olsson office, in a hybrid arrangement, or fully remotely from various U.S. locations. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
- Registered professional engineer.
- Proficiency in Civil 3D.
- Eight or more years of related project experience.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to contribute and work well on a team.
Responsibilities
- Serve as project manager on some projects and lead design engineer on others.
