About The Position

Olsson is hiring an Experienced Civil Engineer to support multidisciplinary engineering and design projects for hyperscale and colocation data center campuses across the United States. The role contributes to the design of critical infrastructure for large, complex data center projects.

Under direct supervision and mentorship, the engineer performs routine engineering assignments to build knowledge and experience with engineering staff, methods, practices, and programs. The position assists with developing ideas and designs that deliver purposeful, high-quality solutions; provides basic project design through Civil 3D drafting; prepares project schedules; conducts research; and writes technical reports.

Candidates may work a hybrid schedule from one of Olsson’s listed offices: Colorado Springs, Loveland, or Denver, Colorado; Plano or Fort Worth, Texas; Overland Park, Kansas; or Des Moines, Omaha, or Lincoln. Flexible work options are available to accommodate different working preferences and support work-life balance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
• Must possess or obtain an Engineer Intern (EI) certificate.
• At least 2 years of related civil engineering design experience.
• Proficiency in Civil 3D.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to contribute and work well on a team.
