About The Position

As a Temporary Senior Campus Recruiter at Baker Tilly (BT), you will feel a great sense of reward and accomplishment through measurable contributions in students' lives. You will have the opportunity to work for a leading CPA advisory firm that serves a diverse array of clients and whose owners have both their clients’ and employees’ best interests in mind and are transparent in their decisions. You will deploy the 9-week Summer Internship program, and support summer interns through their onboarding, training, and client work; culminating in managing the full-time conversion offer process. You will lead the execution of the college relations strategy and recruitment action plans for multiple universities, monitor the recruitment budget for your primary universities, and implement inclusive sourcing strategies to identify talented candidates. You will identify, interview, and manage candidates throughout the recruiting lifecycle, from applicant review to offer extension, and maintain accurate and timely records in the applicant tracking/recruitment system. You will coach and guide teams in conducting on-campus and in-office interviews, work closely with the broader campus recruiting team to assist with branding Baker Tilly as the “employer of choice” on campus, and maintain a constant and steady focus on the local marketplace, and disseminate local market intelligence to campus recruiting team and key client groups. You will utilize the applicant tracking system to capture all recruiting and hiring activity and work on committees and execute on ad hoc projects as needed with periodic updates to your People Manager.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration, or other related field preferred
  • Three (3)+ years of experience in campus recruiting within a professional services firm preferred, will consider an individual with assurance, tax or consulting experience looking to make a career change
  • Ability to attract and hire quality talent, proven relationship-building skills, and strong leadership qualities to drive collaboration, influence, and change in a matrix environment
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment, while maintaining excellent written/verbal communication and exceptional customer service skills
  • Proficiency in Workday, MS Office, and other Talent Acquisition-related tools preferred
  • Ability to think critically and offer creative solutions when partnering with the broader campus team and the business
  • Travel during peak recruiting season expected to be at 25-50%
  • Eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship

Responsibilities

  • Develop relationships with universities, including faculty, administrators, students and school organizations
  • Prepare for and execute campus recruiting activities, such as on-campus presentations, career fairs, mock interviews and resume review workshops
  • Identify and facilitate leadership opportunities on campus
  • Prepare and deliver successful in-office events, including logistics, scheduling, cross-team collaboration, and on-site support, as needed
  • Manage candidates throughout the hiring lifecycle, including creating requisitions, timely and accurate processing, and generating offers
  • Update campus presentations and ensure calendar appointments are accurate and up to date
