Senior CADD Designer - Bridges
About The Position
Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking a Senior CAD Designer to join their Bridge Engineering team, supporting projects nationwide. This role can be performed 100% remotely from anywhere in the US. The ideal candidate is passionate about high-level design work that extends beyond basic drafting, enjoys managing projects from initial templates to final construction documents, and is eager to mentor junior staff by sharing advanced industry techniques and tools. Requirements
- Associate degree in engineering technology or the equivalent years of experience is required.
- 8+ years of CAD design experience on bridges; DOT project experience is a plus.
- MicroStation proficiency is required; AutoCAD or Civil 3D is a plus.
- Experience with Point Clouds, and Digital Delivery methods is a plus.
- Desire for continuous learning as technology and CAD platforms change.
- Interested in working in a team setting with strong collaboration skills.
- Ability to work with team members while working remotely.
- Ability to read, write, and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions.

Responsibilities
- Produce CAD drawings for public infrastructure bridge projects.
- Prepare quantity take-offs from CAD and surface model files.
- Prepare reinforcing bar detailing for reinforced concrete structures.
- Apply and integrate various client CAD standards into CAD templates.
- May develop 3D CAD models for substructures, grading and alignments/profiles.
- Assist the engineering and project management team with the development of CAD design methodology and practices.
- Perform drawing QA/QC on work products from other CADD design and engineering staff.
- Oversee and supervise junior CAD staff.
