About The Position

Wilson & Company, Inc., Engineers & Architects is seeking a Senior CADD Designer to support its Water/Wastewater group in Denver or Colorado Springs. The role focuses on designing linear utilities, pump stations, and water and wastewater treatment plants. The successful candidate will use Autodesk Civil 3D, communicate effectively, and contribute to a team in a fast-paced environment. The position requires the ability to work with minimal direction and to follow internal or client-driven CADD standards, company standards, and quality system procedures.

Requirements

At least 10 years of experience, or an associate’s degree plus at least 8 years of experience.
Proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other computer applications and design software.

Responsibilities

Work in Autodesk Civil 3D while following internal or client-driven CADD standards.
Coordinate with design engineers to develop accurate construction drawings.
Follow specified quality control procedures.
Develop design drawings using engineering sketches.
Complete work in accordance with standard engineering principles and practices, company standards, and quality system procedures.
Create and document concepts, sketches, models, layouts, submittals, instructions, and complete design packages.
Design with minimal direction.
Perform design calculations and prepare reports and construction documents.
