About The Position

Optiveum is recruiting and contracting for a Senior C# / .NET Developer to join a project for a leading global investment bank, delivered together with an international IT services company. The successful candidate will develop and maintain C#/.NET applications built as microservices and event-driven solutions, running on Docker and Kubernetes in Microsoft Azure and delivered through GitLab CI/CD. The cooperation agreement will be signed directly with Optiveum. This is a full-time hybrid role based in Kraków, with three days per week at the client's office. Candidates must live in or near Kraków. The stated B2B rate is 135–160 PLN per hour, depending on experience.

Requirements

At least 8 years of commercial software development experience.
Strong experience with C#/.NET.
Experience with microservices and event-driven architecture.
Experience working with Microsoft Azure.
Knowledge of Oracle, Sybase, or PostgreSQL databases.
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
Experience with GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
Knowledge of software development and deployment best practices.
Fluent English.
Polish or EU citizenship, or permanent residence/work authorization valid for at least 12 months.
Must live in or near Kraków and be able to work from the client's office three days per week.
Must not have participated in a recruitment process for the IT services partner or bank in the previous 12 months.

CV dates and employers must be accurate because the selected candidate will undergo an external HireRight background check covering identity, right to work, education, and employment history.
Have a programming environment set up and tested for live technical tasks; AI tools, coding assistants, and code generators are prohibited during interviews.
