About The Position

Optiveum is recruiting and contracting for a Senior C# / .NET Developer to join a project for one of the world’s leading global investment banks, delivered with a large international IT services company. The developer will build and maintain C#/.NET applications based on microservices and event-driven solutions, running on Docker and Kubernetes in Microsoft Azure and delivered through GitLab CI/CD. The role is full-time and hybrid, with four days per week at the client’s office in Wrocław; candidates must live in or near Wrocław. The stated B2B rate is 145–160 PLN per hour, depending on experience.

The recruitment process includes an interview with the IT services partner followed by one to three interviews with the bank. Technical tasks are completed live, and candidates should have a programming environment set up and tested in advance. AI tools, coding assistants, and code generators are not permitted during interviews. The selected candidate will undergo an external HireRight background check covering identity, work authorization, education, and employment history. Application and CV names must exactly match official ID documents. Candidates who participated in a recruitment process for the partner or bank within the past 12 months are ineligible.

Requirements

• Around 10 years of commercial software development experience.
• Strong experience with C#/.NET.
• Experience with microservices and event-driven architecture.
• Experience working with Microsoft Azure.
• Knowledge of Oracle, Sybase, or PostgreSQL databases.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of software development and deployment best practices.
• Fluent English.
• Polish or EU citizenship, or permanent residence/work authorization valid for at least 12 months.
• Must live in or near Wrocław.

• Candidates who participated in recruitment for the IT services partner or bank in the last 12 months cannot be considered.
