About The Position

Compunetics, Inc. is seeking a Senior Buyer to plan, direct, and coordinate the procurement, inventory, and movement of materials in support of organizational operations. Compunetics manufactures rigid and flexible circuit boards, including high-tech multilayer prototypes and high-density, high-speed interconnects for a variety of customer requirements. The role includes purchasing and supplier development, coordination with internal and external stakeholders, inventory activities, and oversight of the Shipping/Receiving Department. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or Business.
3–5 years of purchasing or supply chain management experience at a manufacturing facility.
Understanding of ERP, planning, expediting, and inventory control processes in a production environment.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to multitask.

Nice To Haves

Experience procuring industrial materials, chemicals, laminates, and other raw materials.
Printed Circuit Board experience.
Some supervision or team leadership experience.

Responsibilities

Prepare requests for quotations (RFQs) and purchase orders and submit them to suppliers.
Source and develop new suppliers.
Negotiate prices.
Collaborate with approved suppliers to obtain the best price, quality, and delivery.
Liaise between suppliers, customers, and internal account management, planning, and production teams.
Coordinate semi-annual uniform orders.
Maintain departmental work instructions.
Maintain daily inventory and perform daily cycle counts.
Supervise and oversee the Shipping/Receiving Department.
