About The Position
Compunetics, Inc. is seeking an individual to plan, direct, and coordinate the procurement, inventory, and movement of materials to support organizational operations. Compunetics manufactures rigid and flexible circuit boards, including high-tech multilayer prototypes and high-density, high-speed interconnects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or Business.
- 3–5 years of purchasing or supply chain management experience at a manufacturing facility.
- Understand ERP, planning, expediting, and inventory control processes in a production environment.
- Solid interpersonal, communication, and multitasking skills.
Nice To Haves
- Experience procuring industrial materials, chemicals, laminates, and other raw materials.
- Printed Circuit Board experience.
- Some supervision or team leadership experience.
Responsibilities
- Prepare requests for quotations (RFQs) and purchase orders and submit them to suppliers.
- Source and develop new suppliers.
- Negotiate prices.
- Collaborate with approved suppliers to obtain the best price, quality, and delivery.
- Liaise between suppliers, customers, and internal account management, planning, and production teams.
- Coordinate semi-annual uniform orders.
- Maintain departmental work instructions.
- Maintain daily inventory cycle counts.
- Supervise and oversee the Shipping/Receiving Department.
