About The Position

Compunetix is seeking an Assistant Operations Planner to support the Operations Planner, collaborate with the production team, and help oversee customer order assemblies. The role supports order entry and tracking, production scheduling, material planning, and delivery-performance monitoring. Candidates must be U.S. citizens and must be eligible to obtain a U.S. security clearance; a clearance may or may not be required for the position.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in a technical discipline.
• 0–3 years of experience managing some level of an electronics assembly process or production planning.
• Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Visio.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Outstanding organizational skills.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Must be eligible to obtain a U.S. security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Assist with new product sales lead times and order-tracking information.
• Support entry of new customer orders and maintenance of ERP/MRP data.
• Create shop orders and release work orders.
• Monitor material availability, including long-lead parts.
• Schedule production of customer orders.
• Assist with forecasting material needs.
• Track schedule performance and on-time delivery.
• Generate production reports.
