About The Position

White Cap is seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst to gather, analyze, and document business requirements for internal customers and ensure technology solutions align with business needs and strategic goals. The position researches, designs, documents, tests, and leverages business solutions; assists with departmental project roadmaps; and partners with clients to prioritize and deliver IT services for an application module or subject area. The role focuses on converting rental data from acquired legacy companies into RentalMan. It interfaces with business stakeholders and IT teams, supports multiple conversion projects, maintains process and project documentation, coordinates mock conversions and go-live activities, and works with stakeholders to review, cleanse, test, load, validate, and document conversion results. It also helps ensure RentalMan environments are ready for testing, manages conversion timelines, communicates risks and issues, and supports hypercare as needed. The analyst assesses whether RentalMan meets acquisition companies’ rental needs, identifies integration gaps and potential solutions, and coordinates resolution. The position may be remote or hybrid depending on location. Eligible candidates residing in the greater Atlanta area will be asked to work two days a week at the Doraville, Georgia Field Support Center. The work is primarily in a comfortable indoor area, with most time spent sitting and occasional movement or light lifting. Overnight travel is typically 5% to 20% of the time.

Requirements

Typically requires a BS/BA in a related discipline and generally 5–8 years of experience in a related field, or an MS/MA and generally 3–5 years of experience in a related field.
Functional experience leading software data conversions is required.
Certification is required in some areas.
Ability to analyze complex problems, troubleshoot, and resolve issues.
Ability to make decisions under uncertainty, including with incomplete information.
Ability to independently perform assignments and develop an approach to solutions.

Nice To Haves

Experience with RentalMan data is preferred.

Responsibilities

Interface with business stakeholders and IT infrastructure teams to define, gather, and document business processes and needs, and translate them into detailed functional specifications.
Analyze existing and future business systems and processes; conduct interviews and requirements-gathering workshops; and ensure sign-off on artifacts.
Coordinate requirements for new and existing applications, assist with testing and training, support users, and develop user documentation.
Participate in quality assurance by identifying test cases, explaining complex processes, and helping develop test plans.
Analyze current and emerging technology and application functionality alongside business needs.
Develop business cases, ROI calculations, value definitions, cost assessments, benefits analyses, and risk analyses.
Work with project teams to manage scope and timelines from conception through implementation, and manage project tasks and lifecycle phases.
May manage approved projects, defining scope and schedules and implementing solutions through IT tollgate processes.
Coordinate client relationships and communication, and prioritize delivery of IT services.
Conduct root-cause analysis using knowledge of applications, interfaces, and technology to resolve defects.
Convert rental data from acquired legacy companies into RentalMan and work on multiple conversion projects concurrently.
Keep process documents, project plans, and data flows up to date, and document new processes as needed.
Ensure data templates are accurate and complete; coordinate and conduct mock conversions and go-live tasks.
Ensure RentalMan test environments are configured and ready for test activities.
Work with business stakeholders to review, cleanse, test, load, validate, and document conversion results.
Work with the project team to manage the go-live conversion timeline and communicate risks and issues.
Support hypercare activities as needed.
Understand RentalMan setup, including customers, ship-tos, invoicing, SKUs, product categories, rental rates, proration structures, rental assets, and depreciation cycles.
Outline the hierarchy and sequence of data uploads for RentalMan.
Ensure RentalMan supports acquisition companies’ rental needs, identify gaps, and coordinate resolution using an appropriate solution.
Review acquisition-company data to support successful conversion to RentalMan.
May oversee project and assignment completion, including planning, assigning, monitoring, and reviewing work and contributing to employees’ professional development.
