About The Position

Abbott is seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst for its Office of Ethics and Compliance. The role may be based in any Abbott office location. The analyst develops data-intensive Power BI reports and dashboards, supports data governance, and identifies technology and security strategies to improve internal processes. The role also provides project support and project management, and offers guidance and training to OEC personnel.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, or IT.
• At least 4 years of experience in a related field.
• Proficiency in Power BI, including data visualization, data governance, and reports and dashboards.
• Strong leadership skills, including setting goals and providing respectful, constructive feedback to build relationships and improve business results.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively at multiple organizational levels.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a timely manner.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with the Power Platform suite, including Power Query, Power Automate, and Power Apps.
• Experience managing Enterprise Architecture.
• Knowledge of large data storage.

Responsibilities

• Develop analytical tools and Power BI reports and dashboards to support data-driven decision-making.
• Identify and integrate technologies that enhance internal processes.
• Document new and existing workflows to support data governance, clarity, and continuity.
• Produce technical documentation and conduct cross-training to support security-focused operations and job redundancy.
• Provide project support and project management.
• Provide guidance and training to OEC personnel.
