Join the leader in collaborative licensing and help us advance inclusive and efficient new patent licensing approaches to drive innovation globally. Via is dedicated to accelerating global technology adoption, fostering participation, and generating return on innovation with balanced IP licensing solutions for innovators and manufacturers of all sizes around the globe. Via is an independently managed company owned by industry-leading participants with over 25 years of intellectual property licensing leadership. Our expertise extends to intellectual property, technology standardization, strategic business development, and program administration. Affiliated specialists in the fields of finance, antitrust law, and patent analysis complete the set of capabilities that make Via a premier solutions provider to the world’s most sophisticated technology and entertainment companies. About the NextGen Program: NextGen is Via LA’s multi-phase enterprise modernization program focused on transforming legacy licensing, royalty-management, financial, and operational processes into a modular, cloud-native platform. The program is designed to improve automation, scalability, maintainability, data integrity, business-rule transparency, end-to-end traceability, and operational controls while reducing dependency on tightly coupled legacy applications. The platform supports complex, rules-driven processes across patent licensing, royalty reporting and processing, financial calculations, tax, audit and compliance, document management, notifications, reporting, and related operational workflows. The target architecture leverages reusable business capabilities, workflow orchestration, APIs, event-driven integrations, configurable business rules, and modern cloud services. Position Summary: The Senior Business Systems Analyst (BSA) will play a critical role in the analysis, design, delivery, validation, and implementation of Via LA’s NextGen platform while continuing to support related legacy applications during the transformation. The BSA will translate complex business needs into clear, testable, and traceable requirements and serve as a key liaison across business, Product Owners, developers, QA, and operational teams throughout the software development lifecycle. This role requires strong business-analysis discipline and sufficient technical depth to collaborate effectively on microservices, workflows, APIs, data models, integration contracts, cloud services, and system dependencies. The BSA is not expected to develop application code but must understand technical designs, identify gaps and downstream impacts, and ensure implemented solutions align with approved business requirements. This is a hybrid role requiring a minimum of three days per week in the Greenwood Village office. We are looking for a collaborative professional who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow while helping the team achieve its goals.
