Requirements
- Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Engineering, Statistics, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field
- Two (2) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
- Two (2) years of experience in Programming Languages
- Two (2) years of experience in Database Query Languages, including SQL or MySQL
- Two (2) years of experience in Agile, Jira, or Confluence
- Two (2) years of experience in Salesforce data analysis
- Two (2) years of experience in Looker or Tableau reporting tools
- Two (2) years of experience in Data Warehouse design
- Two (2) years of experience in Data Management
Responsibilities
- Serve as the crucial link between CarGurus business objectives and technical capabilities of its system through analysis of data and influencing analytics systems.
- Engage with stakeholders to collect and document business data and requirements, translating them into specifications in user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
- Define data and analytics processes, identify areas for improvement, and recommend solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
- Create essential technical and business documentation, including application, data flow, sequence diagrams, entity relationship, and integration diagrams.
- Present data and system designs to both internal and external stakeholders for decision making and approval.
- Perform architectural design, requirement design, analysis, and quality assurance.
- Collaborate with various cross-functional stakeholders analyze business processes, gather and document requirements, and design system solutions.
- Collaborate with technical product managers to build out user guides and training materials for end-users.
- Collaborate with engineers to implement technical solutions to meet business requirements and compliance regulations.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to document user acceptance testing scenarios and obtain sign-off prior to deployment.
- Assist with testing coordination and documenting defects.
- Identify industry trends and new releases to proactively identify optimization opportunities and create stakeholder value.
