About The Position

Abbott is seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst for its Office of Ethics and Compliance division. The position can be based in any Abbott office location. The analyst develops data-intensive Power BI reports and dashboards, supports data governance, and explores technology and security strategies that improve internal processes. The role also provides project support and project management, and guidance and training to Office of Ethics and Compliance personnel.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, or IT.
• At least 4 years of experience in a related field.
• Proficiency in Power BI, including data visualization, data governance, and reports or dashboards.
• Strong leadership skills, including setting goals and providing respectful, constructive feedback to build positive relationships and improve business results.
• Ability to work effectively within a team in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively at multiple organizational levels.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a timely manner.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with the Power Platform suite, including Power Query, Power Automate, and Power Apps.
• Experience managing Enterprise Architecture.
• Knowledge of large data storage.

Responsibilities

• Develop analytical tools and Power BI reports and dashboards to support data-driven decision-making.
• Seek out and integrate new technologies to enhance internal processes.
• Document new and existing workflows to support data governance, clarity, and continuity.
• Generate technical documentation and conduct cross-training sessions to support job redundancy and security-driven operations.
• Provide project support and project management.
• Provide guidance and training to Office of Ethics and Compliance personnel.
