About The Position

We are currently looking to hire a Senior Business Systems Analyst – SAP FI/CO, Product Costing and Master Data to support and enhance our SAP ECC financial, controlling, costing, and master-data capabilities, as well as connected business applications including Xtel and HighRadius. This role will serve as a senior IT functional partner for Finance, Cost Accounting, Master Data, Sales, and related business teams. The analyst will translate business needs into sustainable solutions, provide hands-on functional support and configuration, and ensure reliable end-to-end processes across SAP and integrated applications. The role will also contribute to future SAP S/4HANA planning, with emphasis on FI/CO, Material Ledger, product costing, Business Partner, master-data readiness, and the transition from legacy applications to standardized future-state capabilities. The role is a hybrid 3 days in office, based in Broomfield, CO.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Equivalent combinations of education, professional training, SAP certifications, and relevant experience will be considered.
  • 5–10 years of experience as an SAP FI/CO Functional Analyst, SAP Product Costing Consultant, Business Systems Analyst, or similar SAP functional professional.
  • Strong hands-on functional and configuration experience with SAP ECC FI and CO.
  • Demonstrated expertise in product costing, including standard costs, costing runs, overhead, manufacturing variances, work in process, settlement, and period-end close.
  • Strong understanding of material valuation, inventory accounting, automatic account determination, and the financial impact of goods movements and manufacturing transactions.
  • Experience supporting finance, controlling, customer, vendor, and costing-relevant material master data.
  • Solid understanding of FI/CO integration with SAP MM, PP, and SD.
  • Experience gathering requirements, developing functional specifications, testing solutions, and working with technical teams.
  • Experience supporting production operations, troubleshooting integrations, and conducting root-cause analysis.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting Xtel, HighRadius, or comparable trade-promotion and accounts-receivable platforms.
  • Understanding of trade-promotion management, accruals, claims, deductions, settlements, cash application, collections, credit, and dispute-management processes.
  • Experience in consumer packaged goods, food and beverage, or process manufacturing.
  • Experience with SAP Material Ledger, actual costing, COPA, or product profitability analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Support and enhance SAP ECC FI processes, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, account determination, reconciliations, and period-end close.
  • Support SAP CO processes, including cost centers, profit centers, internal orders, allocations, product cost controlling, and profitability reporting.
  • Lead functional support for standard costing, costing runs, costing variants, valuation variants, cost component structures, overhead calculation, and activity prices.
  • Support manufacturing cost flows, including work in process, scrap, variances, settlement, and period-end costing activities.
  • Troubleshoot inventory valuation, price control, automatic account determination, goods movements, production postings, and related financial impacts.
  • Partner with Finance, Cost Accounting, Manufacturing, Procurement, and Supply Chain teams to improve costing accuracy, controls, reconciliation, and close-cycle efficiency.
  • Support FI/CO integration with SAP MM, PP, and SD across procurement, inventory, manufacturing, sales, billing, and settlement processes.
  • Serve as an IT functional lead for SAP master data, including materials, customers, vendors, bills of material, purchasing information records, and finance and controlling master data.
  • Manage master-data creation, extension, modification, mass maintenance, approval, and retirement across all organizational units - customer, material, vendor master data, PIR, CMIR, Purchasing contracts, etc.
  • Partner with data owners and stewards to establish ownership, approval workflows, validation rules, standards, and data-quality controls.
  • Support master-data workflow and maintenance tools such as Precisely, Winshuttle, or similar platforms.
  • Perform data analysis, cleansing, mapping, validation, conversion, and reconciliation for projects, acquisitions, new products, and system changes.
  • Provide functional support for Xtel and related trade-promotion processes and interfaces, including customer and product data, promotion planning, accruals, claims or deductions, settlement, actuals, and financial reconciliation with SAP.
  • Support HighRadius and related accounts-receivable processes and interfaces, including cash application, collections, credit, deductions and disputes, payment terms, remittance information, and customer-account data.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot interfaces, scheduled jobs, master-data synchronization, and transactional data flows between SAP, Xtel, HighRadius, and other connected systems.
  • Ensure that financial postings, accruals, settlements, deductions, payments, and customer balances are complete, accurate, and reconciled across systems.
  • Partner with Finance, Sales, Customer Service, and external vendors to resolve production issues and improve end-to-end trade-promotion and order-to-cash processes.
  • Maintain functional documentation, integration mappings, reconciliation procedures, and support playbooks for connected applications.
  • Contribute accounting, costing, and master-data expertise to AI-enabled initiatives by identifying valuable use cases, validating data and business logic, testing outputs, and helping ensure solutions are accurate, explainable, and aligned with financial controls.
  • Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into process designs, SAP configuration, functional specifications, and test scenarios.
  • Lead investigation and resolution of incidents, service requests, recurring problems, and business-critical issues across SAP and connected applications.
  • Work with offshore support teams, developers, integration resources, external vendors, and consultants to deliver timely and sustainable solutions.
  • Perform root-cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Lead or support functional workstreams for enhancements, integrations, upgrades, data conversions, and business projects.
  • Conduct unit and integration testing and coordinate User Acceptance Testing, regression testing, cutover, and post-production stabilization.
  • Maintain process flows, configuration documents, test evidence, controls, training materials, and support procedures.
  • Ensure changes comply with architecture, security, audit, segregation-of-duties, change-management, and IT-governance standards.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation for urgent or business-critical issues when required.
