About The Position

The Senior Business Intelligence Specialist in Qualus’s Program Management department gathers, analyzes, and compiles data for customers. The role transforms data and extracts relevant information to help organizations make sense of large volumes of data. Using analytics tools, the specialist reports findings and develops dashboards and reports. The position calls for a passion for data, a highly analytical mindset, and strong written and verbal communication skills to explain the resulting dashboards and reports.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of Power BI experience.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, formulas, and data analysis techniques.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
• Ability to collect and compile relevant data.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent ability to analyze information and think systematically.
• Ability to handle databases and understand technology-driven business intelligence tools.

Responsibilities

• Collect, analyze, and interpret structured data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support business objectives.
• Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using business intelligence tools such as Microsoft Power BI.
• Extract, cleanse, validate, and transform data to ensure its quality and readiness for reporting and analysis.
• Write and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, and views to retrieve, manipulate, and validate data from relational databases.
• Assist in gathering business requirements, document reporting needs, and develop analytical solutions for operational and strategic challenges.
• Support the development and maintenance of logical and physical data models for reporting and analytics.
• Develop and maintain report specifications, data dictionaries, business definitions, and technical documentation.
